My friend Angela has a great blog at Hidden Treasures. Check out the recipe she shares for homemade "in-a-bag" microwave pop-corn.

Make your own free digital collage

Just catching up on posting pictures from a few family events over the past six months. This was from my birthday in November 2010 spent at Mom and Dad's with 3 of my children, my parents and Papa. Kevin and Olivia had been at a Revival in Missouri and I celebrated with Kevin later. This was a simple cake, ice cream and coffee affair served on a silver tray at the hand of our beautiful daughter Anna and her Granna. Pictured in the collage are the flowers and chocolate that Kevin sent, a picture of Papa and Dad praying that night at prayer meeting and a photo of mom starting to put up her Christmas tree. ;)

It's a Mystery!

It's a mystery how Anna Grace's room will eventually appear!

What with a house we are blessed to lease, inherited bedroom furniture that we need to get from Georgia, a girl whose favorite color is pink but whose dream is to have the

80 year old sub-culture icon,

Nancy Drew

- Girl Mystery Detective,

as her theme...

I'm Clueless!!!

Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys 1970's

Does any one know where I can find Colombo, the Hardy Boys, Agatha Christie...

I'll even settle for

Angela Lansbury!!!!

Don't bother reading this blog unless you are fluent in the French language!

... I just need a Decorating Detective!!!

Surely, HGTV has a private eye that can fingerprint their way thorough my dilemma! Until I can hire the professionals, though, I'll just settle for ameture sleuth, me, and gather what bits of evidence I can find to give Anna Grace her "Nancy Drew" suite!

This is the mural I made using my Silhouette SD Machine! This is above her bed. I know it is a little busy, but it gets the theme across and I couldn't get the silhouette as big as would have liked. This is a depiction of the Hidden Staircase book cover. Anna has 2 of those books and a post card of this picture. When we figure what bed is going in her room, I'll be able to get a bedspread and post a picture of the whole scene.

This is an impromtu window treatment made using the existing sheers and Christmas gifts that never made it to the recepients...my sisters' black scarves. That beautiful picture is a personal favorite of mine and is only on lone to Anna Grace. I thought the lady looked like Nancy Drew.

More Pictures to come as I continue the investigation of

The Case of the Nancy Drew Bedroom!!
